INDIANAPOLIS , IN , UNITED STATES, September 6, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — For more than eight months, the family of Kirsten Brueggeman has been waiting for answers in the disappearance of their 26-year-old daughter. Since her disappearance, Kirsten’s absence has been felt by friends, family, and the community, leading to the organization of a vigil in honor of Kirsten set for September 18th, 2021 slated to take place at the intersection of Shortridge Road and 10th Street.

On the night she went missing, January 2, 2021 Kirsten was enjoying a night out with her friends at a nearby watering hole called The Irish Mutt. She had called her mother to tell her that she would not need a ride home from work because she was going to meet friends. The last time Kirsten was seen, her image was captured on an external CCTV camera around 2 a.m. as she walked through the parking lot of the YMCA at 501 North Shortridge Road. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police department initially reached out to the community in search of clues regarding the missing woman. As the old adage goes, “Someone knows something.” Police were in search of anyone who might have witnessed Kirsten’s movements at crucial junctures in the final moments before she was last seen. The cameras last recorded her image walking south on Shortridge Road in the direction of East Washington Street. Subsequent searches by both police and independent investigators have turned up nothing, and Kirsten’s family has offered a $10,000 reward in exchange for information leading to her safe return. Lauth Investigations International has started a GoFundMe on behalf of the family to fund an independent investigation into her disappearance. You can donate to that GoFundMe here.

Kirsten Brueggeman is 5’2” tall, weighing about 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she was wearing a black, waist-length coat, blue jeans, a gray stocking cap, and she was carrying a white backpack. Anyone with information about Kirsten’s whereabouts should call IMPD Missing Persons at 317-327-6160, or contact Lauth Investigation International’s anonymous tip line at 317-279-6082.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, UNITED STATES, April 27, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ — Lauth Investigations International has officially joined the search for missing Batvia, New York man, Travis Sackett. Our seasoned missing person investigators have began developing strategies to exhaust every lead in the young traveler’s disappearance more than two months ago.

Travis Sackett disappeared on February 21, 2021 while travelling abroad in Ecuador. Travis loves the outdoors and helping others, which made him perfectly suited to become part of the Peace Corps. While he was between missions in the Peace Corps, Travis had been living and working on a farm in Quito. In his free time, he enjoyed hiking and the outdoors. On the day he vanished, Travis was reportedly on his way to hike to the Imbabura Volcano in northern Ecuador. Though the hiking trails he would have encountered were not incredibly dangerous, there have been concerns that he could have met with some harm in the wild.

Efforts to involve law enforcement in the search for Travis have been difficult, and as a result, a great deal of time has been lost in the importance of recovering important evidence and speaking to witnesses. Lauth is hoping to implement new strategies in the search for Travis, including a multi-pronged social media awareness campaign.
Travis’ family are still waiting for answers after months with no word. You can follow Travis’ story on Facebook at the page dedicated to the case. Travis’ family has posted a GoFundMe campaign to fund the search, which has raised over $12,000 to date. Any persons in the United States who believe they have information on Travis’ last known whereabouts, please contact Lauth Investigations International at 317-951-1100 today.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, UNITED STATES, May 12, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Lauth Investigations International has joined the cold-case search for missing expectant mother Milagros Perez Peraulta, who was abducted from the sidewalk in front of a New York State building on South 5th Street in Brooklyn, New York on August 30, 1976. Investigators are preparing to bring new light to this cold case by virtue of ancestry databases and comprehensive due-diligence.

At the time of her disappearance, Milagros was only 22 years old and four months pregnant. She was living with her boyfriend on 33rd Street in Astoria, NY. On August 30, 1976, Milagros was exiting what was at the time a New York State unemployment office building. She was pulled into a vehicle by a Latino male in his late 60s, or early 70s, believed to be a man named Raul who lived in her neighborhood. At the time of her disappearance, discrepancies in reporting within missing person investigations could have delayed the search for the expectant mother.

Missing person cases present their own set of unique challenges with diverse nuance—circumstances that are only further exacerbated by the passage of time. Leads de-materialize, evidence is eroded, and witnesses disappear. However, blowing the dust off a cold case means getting fresh eyes on the information available, and fresh approaches to existing leads. This can increase the likelihood of case progression, even after decades. Lauth investigators are hopeful to unearth new leads in Milagros’ case through ancestry DNA databases in hopes of identifying living family members who may be able to answer crucial questions in the case.

Lauth investigators are prepared to turn over every rock in pursuit of answers on what happened to Milagros Perez Peraulta. If you have any information on Milagros’ disappearance, please contact Lauth Investigators through our confidential tip line at (317)-675-6701.
